A preliminary autopsy report has revealed that Martha Ahumuza Murari, the young woman who collapsed at Mezo Noir nightclub on Wednesday night, died from a ruptured aneurysm, ruling out initial fears of drink spiking.

Murari, who had been enjoying a night out at the popular Kololo establishment, collapsed after consuming an alcoholic beverage. She was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

An aneurysm occurs when a weakened blood vessel bursts, causing internal bleeding that can be fatal. While some had speculated foul play, the autopsy findings indicate that her death was due to a medical condition rather than external interference.

However, Kampala Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances leading up to her collapse. According to SSP Patrick Onyango, detectives are particularly interested in her interaction with Edward Mugabo, a cashier at Mezo Noir, and his brother, Joseph Kalenzi.

“The investigation is ongoing, and we are gathering statements from witnesses and individuals who were with her that evening,” Onyango stated.

Friends and family of Murari have expressed their shock and grief, remembering her as a vibrant and kind-hearted individual. As the police continue their inquiries, authorities urge the public to avoid speculation and allow the investigation to proceed.

More details are expected as the case unfolds.credit explorer news
