Min.Mwesige Lauds Hon.Rwamirama For Deligently Handling Veterans Pension

Hon Lt Col (Rtd) Bright Rwamirama has handed over office of Veteran Affairs to Hon Christopher Kyibazanga at a ceremony held at Mbuya Headquarters.

Hon Adolf Mwesige the Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs commended Hon Rwamirama for pioneering the standing up of the Department of Veteran Affairs.”I want to appluad the great work done by my comrad the outgoing minister veteran affairs Hon.Rwamirama.He worked tirelessly to make sure that this ministry of defence develops to another level”he said.

Minister Adolf also commended the great work that Hon. minister Rwamirama has been doing to handle the issues of ex service men/veterans to make sure that they recieve thier pension and other old age development projects.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chief of Defence Forces Lt Gen Wilson Mbadi,UPDF Service Commanders, Mrs Edith Buturo who represented the Permanent Secretary, General Officers and Senior Ministry Officials among others.
