NCHE Clearance letter reads in part

The NCHE through the health ministry in July issued guidelines for Higher Education Institutions (HEI) to roll out the distance and electronic learning.

The guidelines are part of measures to ensure that teaching in higher education institutions continues despite the closure of educational institutions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Consequently, the university was allowed to conduct online classes for a period of 12 months or for the duration of the Coronavirus pandemic as will be determined by relevant authorities and it’s part of the few education institutions in the country to have embraced the use of distance learning programmes and open educational applications and platforms that lecturers can use to reach learners remotely and limit the disruption of education.

Victoria University, is one of the best private universities in Uganda, and stands out as a centre of academic excellence. It offers a fresh and intellectually stimulating environment that nurtures critical thinkers.

The university was opened in August 2010 and has the capacity, the facilities and determination to revitalize higher education in Uganda and in the region.

According to the University’s Director Mr. Rajiv Ruparelia, Victoria is committed to playing a leading role in bringing and developing high– quality, student–centered learning opportunities based on standards of excellence that are unique, innovative and difficult to match.

The university is centrally located in the heart of Kampala City and on the main public transportation routes coupled with ample parking space.

Victoria University is part of Ruparelia Group of Companies, which has a strong presence in the education sector in Uganda and has under its portfolio, Kampala International School Uganda, Kampala Parents School and Delhi Public School International.
