His Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), one of the world’s largest private development organizations, has played a crucial role in providing education, medical care, and infrastructure support across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

His philanthropic legacy extended beyond material aid he was a proponent of pluralism, interfaith dialogue, and peaceful coexistence. His initiatives focused on sustainable development and ensuring that marginalized populations had the resources and opportunities to thrive.
