Pictorial: Lt.Gen Mugira Inspects Modern NEC Katonga Farm

The Managing Director of National Enterprise Corporation (NEC), the business arm of UPDF Lt.Gen James Mugira has visited NEC Farm in Katonga as one of the NEC subsidiaries and the Egypt-Uganda Joint Model Farm Project that is implemented by NEC in Kisozi-Gomba District respectively.
He oversaw the beginning of harvesting of 500 acres of animal feeds in preparation for animal fattening Project.
The feeds will be used to make silage which is rich in carbohydrates and proteins that facilitate fattening.
Lt Gen Mugira commended the Management of NEC Farm Katonga for work well done.
He was accompanied by his Deputy Maj Gen Moses D. Ssentongo among others and was received at the Farm by the Gen Manager-Col Wycliffe Keita.
