Prime Suspect In Murder Of Bundibugyo NRM Boss Kifunga Arrested

Flying squad unit of police has arrested one Bwambale Sunday Swaib herbalist in connection to the murder of the NRM district registrar for Bundibugyo district.

The deceased Aguma Robert Kifunga was lured into gold deal by his friend Bwambale Sunday who later strangled him to death and after dumped the body at Bimala cell in Bundibugyo where it was recovered by residents.

Aguma also a lawyer in the district was murdered by Bwambale and others after taking 42 million shillings from him.

According to the police spokesman Fred Enanga, the deceased was last seen in a company of Bwambale at Centenary bank Fort portal branch traveling in suspect’s car registration number UBL 885F after withdrawing a 42 million shillings.
Enanga further adds that, after successful murdering him, the group shared the loots among themselves.

Enanga says through using CCTV cameras, they managed to arrest Bwambale from Rugendabala town council and he confessed to police.

The hunt for other accomplices is on.
