Rajiv Rally Team Announces Discounted Packages For Travelers To The Much Anticipated Jinja Sexy Speed Rally

Sports fans and the community in and around Jinja City will be waiting eagerly for the seventh and final edition of the Federation of Motorsport Rally Championship that will take place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 November in Jinja City and district respectively.

Meanwhile The Capital Times has since learnt that Rajiv Ruparelia Rally Team has since announced two discounted packages for fans who wish to travel with them to Jinja for the much anticipated Sexy Speed Rally.

According to discounted packages, attendees will have to either choose silver and pay a paltry Shs350, 000 which will cater for accommodation for two nights, food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) transport (to and fro plus to rally event) while the gold option is at Shs750, 000 will cater for accommodation for two nights, food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) transport (to and fro plus to rally event), a polo shirt and a cap.

Rajiv Ruparelia, one of the Directors of the Ruparelia Group that owns Victoria University and Premier Recruitment confirmed the University will offer scholarships and free passports to prospective students in Jinja and the neighboring areas where the rally will cover.

“Whenever we support someone we know we have supported hundreds of other people, who will go through his or her hands. Don’t miss this opportunity to benefit from these offers.” Victoria University is already in Jinja registering everyone interested in joining us for the Feb-Mar 2022 intake.

Code-named the ‘Sexy Speed Rally’, the rally that is organized by the Motorsport Africa Club (MOSAC) was launched last Wednesday afternoon at the Source of The Nile Hotel in Jinja City.

The event manager Herbert Rutagweera explained that the organizers settled for the code-name in a way to entice fans. “We chose the name ‘Sexy Speed Rally’ because we are going to have an exciting, speed rally,” he answered questions lingering over the choice of name that had left media, drivers and guests, excited.

Vaccination drive

MOSAC is joining hands with the Uganda Ministry of Health and Obwakyabazinga Bwa Busoga (Busoga Kingdom) to mobilise 100,000 people to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

“As part of our CSR activity, we are partnering with the Ministry of Health and Busoga Kingdom to mobilise the community in and around Jinja. Our target is to vaccinate at least 100,000 fans and the community who will turn up,” MOSAC president Frank Byeyendera revealed.
