Jubilation As Uganda Discharges 10 More Covid-19 Patients

Eight members of Watoto Church choir who had been sick from covid19 have recovered from the deadly Coronavirus.

These were discharged today April 20, 2020 at a function officiated by Joyce Kaducu, the minister of state for Primary Health Care.

The team, which included 5 children and 3 attendants, was being treated from Entebbe Grade B Hospital.

There are two others – a boda boda rider from Kasubi and another individual from Kalangala – who were discharged from the same hospital today.

This bring the total number of recoveries from COVID-19 to 38.

Those that are still undergoing treatment are 17.

55 people have tested positive for coronavirus since the first test was carried out in Uganda.
