His predecessor, Senior Commissioner of Police (SCP) Sakira Moses, returns to Uganda to take up the role of Deputy Director in the Directorate of Research and Planning.

SCP Halango Timothy, previously with the Directorate of Research and Planning, has been assigned to the Directorate of Welfare, Production, and Sports as Deputy Director. Similarly, Commissioner of Police (CP) Mubangizi Ben moves from the Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety to Algeria, where he will serve as the Police Attaché.

Notable changes within local postings include CP Ssebambulidde Charles, who transitions from the Agriculture Police to the Directorate of Logistics and Engineering as Acting Deputy Director for Classified Stores. Meanwhile, CP Acaye Philip shifts from the Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety to lead the Agriculture Police as Commandant.

Another key appointment is that of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Musinga Norman, who moves from his role as Regional Police Commander (RPC) Busoga East to the Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety as Acting Deputy Director.
