Speaker Among, Mpuuga, Lukwago Pay Tribute To Hajj Ali Nganda, Father Of MP Ssemujju Nganda

The Speaker of Uganda’s Parliament, Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among among other top government officials have mourned the passing of Hajj Ali Nganda, father to Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda, Member of Parliament for Kira Municipality.

In a heartfelt message shared on her official X account, Among , Mathias Mpuuga and Erias Lukwago extended thier  condolences to Hon. Ssemujju Nganda and his family, acknowledging the deep loss of a family pillar. They noted that all Ugandans stand in solidarity with the bereaved family during this sorrowful period.

“On behalf of the Parliament of Uganda and myself, I send my sincere condolences to my brother, Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda, and the entire Nganda family on the loss of their patriarch, Hajj Ali Nganda. May Allah’s infinite mercy and the prayers of the faithful provide strength and solace during this challenging time,” Among wrote.

Hajj Ali Nganda, who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 89, succumbed to a brief illness, the details of which remain undisclosed. He was widely regarded as a key figure within his family and community.

The late Hajj Ali Nganda is set to be laid to rest on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at his ancestral home in Bijaaba, Kyazanga, Lwengo District.

His passing has drawn condolences from various leaders and individuals across the country, reflecting the deep respect he commanded.
