Kampala’s nightlife is getting a vibrant midweek boost following the announcement of a new comedy and entertainment series dubbed 4 Pitchers Midweek Madness.

The weekly event, organised by District Management in partnership with 4 Pitchers and Stress Clinic, will officially kick off on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Dstrkt 24 on Kira Road, next to Georgina Eye Clinic. Entry will be free, with gates opening at 7pm.

The launch edition promises an exciting mix of comedy and live performances, featuring a star-studded line-up that includes Jackie Chandiru, Amooti Omubalanguzi alongside Amarula Family, Maulana and Reign, Qkamba and Sunny, Daniel Omara, and Sundiata. The evening will be steered by host Isaac Kuddzi, while Niyo Official and DJ Phil handle the music, backed by live instrumentation from the Artwave Band.

Speaking ahead of the debut, Isaac Kuddzi expressed confidence in the new concept, describing it as a fresh addition to the city’s entertainment calendar.

“This is something new and exciting. Starting June 2nd, we are introducing Midweek Madness — a platform that brings together top local talent for an unforgettable night. The line-up speaks for itself, and the best part is that it’s all free,” he said.

District 24 Marketing Manager Darlington Nahumuza noted that preparations have been ongoing for some time, and the team is now ready to deliver a unique experience to partygoers.

“We’ve taken time to put this together and now everything is set. Midweek Madness is here, and we’re inviting everyone to come through and enjoy what we have prepared,” he said.

According to Jessie Namwanga from 4 Pitchers, the event is designed to centre on comedy, laughter, and quality live entertainment, with ambitions to grow into a major weekly highlight.

“This is going to be a home for great comedy and good vibes. We want people to look forward to Tuesdays as a day to unwind and enjoy top-tier performances,” she said.

She added that the initiative is part of a broader plan to reshape Kampala’s social scene, with additional weekly activities in the pipeline, including quiz nights, live band sessions, and interactive game nights.

Organisers believe the consistency of the event, combined with strong local talent, will help Midweek Madness evolve into one of the city’s most anticipated weekly outings.
