Minister Anite said the One-Stop Centre for Investors is aimed at improving efficiencies in the delivery of key investment and business support services under one roof and virtually.

“The 15 agencies in the One-Stop Centre have to work together and speak with one voice. We want to see connected, integrated and seamless provision of investment and business services. I encourage Ugandans to come and utilize the services”, she said.

The minister said through URA the Government provides a number of incentives for both domestic and foreign investors in order to attract quality investment projects. She said investors need to be knowledgeable about these incentives in order to get into value addition and the money economy.

URA Commissioner General Rujoki appealed to investors and business people to approach the tax body for any tax and incentive-related information.

The Director General of UIA, Robert Mukiza, said the One-Stop Centre for Investors offers efficient, innovative investment and business solutions in order to ease doing business.

“In the One-Stop Centre, we have both government and private sector agencies whose goal is to make Uganda competitive for investment and business in East Africa and the whole world”.
