Vipers SC Sign Play Maker Paul Mucureezi

Vipers Sports Club has signed Paul Mucureezi from Mbarara City FC on a three year contract starting 3rd January 2020.

Mucureezi’s contract is subject to extension based on his performance.

Vipers are currently top of the league after the first round and will be hoping to win it for the first time since 2017/18 season.

The Kitende based-club said on its website: “Vipers Sports Club is delighted to announce the signing of Paul Mucureezi from Mbarara City FC on a three-year contract from January 3rd, 2019 with an option for a further year.”

Mucureezi joins the Venoms as a free agent following the expiration of his employment contract at Mbarara City FC on December 31st, 2019.

He will likely to make his debut when Vipers play Kyetume FC next week on Friday at St Mary’s Stadium.

“I am thrilled to be joining Vipers SC. I have enjoyed my time at Mbarara City FC enormously and I have learned a lot there. But I’m looking forward to another journey now with the Venoms. I’m keen to get started and make my contribution to the team’s efforts to win trophies,” Mucureezi said:

Mucureezi’s reign at Mbarara City FC officially came to an end on Tuesday, December 31st, 2019 after playing for the Mbarara town-based club 18 months.
