7 More People Discharged As Uganda’s Covid-19 Recoveries Rise

Seven more coronavirus patients have been discharged from Mulago Specialised National Hospital as the number of Uganda’s virus recoveries rise.

The number of patients that have recovered from covid19, the respiratory illness caused by the coronavirus –  is now at 20 in Uganda.

On Thursday, Robinah Nabbanja, the state minister for Health-General Duties, oversaw the discharge of 7 patients (3 females, 4 males) at Mulago Hospital.

According to the Ministry of Health, another patient was discharged from Hoima hospital after testing negative twice for COVID-19.

“The total number of COVID-19 recoveries is now 20 in Uganda,” the ministry said.

The total number of positive cases confirmed in Ugandan is 55, implying only thirty-five are now in hospital.
