The inspector General of police Martin Ochola has suspended district police commander for Rubirizi SP Dick Ayesigyomwe on allegations of mishandling a case that involves the theft of goats belonging to the Chief Justice Bart Katurebe.

Ayesigyomwe was interdicted three weeks ago following the mismanagement of the case collusion in the theft of goats.

The greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SP Martial Tumusiime confirmed that the Ayesigyomwe will wait for the decision from police headquarters in Kampala.

Facts about the case are that goats were stolen from the farm in Kiruhura and sold in Rubirizi but the DPC never handled the case professionally.

It is also said that CJ Katurebe complained several times and eventually the DPC was suspended. CCMknewS
