The Deputy Speaker told the gathering  that “Such wording was targeting Islam as a religion and could only facilitate the misconception surrounding Islam.”

Oulanyah suggested that instead the House adopts terroristic propaganda as a wholistic view to any kind of online, hate, extremity or violence, which was adopted unanimously by the Members of Parliament.

The ACP-EU Parliamentary Assembly in Kigali is happening at the Kigali convention centre and will run up to Friday 22nd November 2019, being attended by delegates from all African, Asian and Pacific countries, plus members of the European Union.
