Goldstar Insurance Offers Free Wheelchairs To People With Mobility Complications In Kamuli

One of Uganda’s oldest Insurance Company; Goldstar Insurance Company Ltd, has provided wheelchairs to assist patients after screening and surgeries.This was during the Ruparelia Foundation’s two day medical camp in Kamuli, Eastern Uganda, which took place from August, 20 to 21, 2022, offering free eye checks, treatment, cataract surgeries and free glasses.

According to statistics, some of the people who benefitted from the medical camp include 846 who were screened, 83 who underwent successful eye surgeries and over 1000 people were given free glasses.

These wheelchairs were also being used by patients who had mobility issues.
