Cranes Majestically Win The 2019 CECAFA Cup

Uganda Cranes easily out-muscled Eritrea 3-0 during the final of the 2019 CECAFA men senior challenge cup at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo in Kampala on Thursday.

Proline Football Club forward Bright Anukani, KCCA’s Mustafa Kizza and Busoga United striker Joel Madondo scored the goals for Uganda Cranes to further stamp authority in the region.

This had been the second time that Uganda Cranes overcame Eritrea in the same tournament, after an easy 2-0 win during a group A clash.

Outstanding Players:

Eritrea’s Robel Teklemichael was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.

Charles Lukwago of Uganda took home the golden glove award as best goalkeeper and Kenyan, Oscar Wamalwa was top scorer with three goals.
