John Orenia Revita has inked a two-year deal with two times CECAFA Clubs Cup Champions KCCA FC.

The former Express FC Captain’s sign on fee is undisclosed but his contract runs from August 2019 to August 2021.

The ponytail Uganda Cranes defender arguably one of the best passers of the ball in the local league has previously played for Bukavu Dawa FC in Democratic Republic of Congo before joining Express FC in 2018/19 season where he was handed the captain’s armband in the second round.

Revita a learned Civil Engineer at diploma level has also captained the Uganda Sand Cranes in the past and named Beach Soccer league MVP in 2014.

The defender has got crisp passing and splendid game reading. His composure, technical brilliance and comfort under high pressure is top class. He will battle for a place at the heart of defense with club academy graduates Peter Magambo, Filbert Obenchan, Musa Ramathan and Kato Samuel.

His experience with the National team will greatly supplement the club’s talented center back pairing of Magambo and Kato that is short of experience.

Revita will don jersey number 5 previously donned by former club skipper Timothy Dennis Awany.
