Team Thorough ~YKM is a political mobilization team of resilient, patriotic, hard working, committed and dedicated NRM Youthful Cadres that identifies, recruits and mobilises people; Youth to support NRM Party, NRM flag bearers, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his visionary Government programs.
We are mandated to carryout political mobilization & sensitization drive in the whole country ahead of 2026 General elections.
Its a team that was commissioned by the President of the Republic of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and Our Patron is the First Lady Hon Janet Kataha Museveni(Mama).
We are structured with coordinators/Mobilizers at different levels of administration that is; National,Regional, Subregion, District, Constituency, Sub county, Parish & Village.
We respect the NRM Constitution, NRM manifesto and NRM Core values and principles of;

Team Thorough~YKM Tasks/Roles/Duties ahead of 2021 Elections
1. Identify, recruit and mobilize & sensitize people to support NRM Party,NRM flag bearers, President M7 & his visionary programs.
2. Neutralize Opposition by tactically dismantling their strongholds & structures in our areas of jurisdiction
3. Identify conditions that might have predisposed some individuals to be passive or quit NRM Party
4. Engage people/ Youth and inspire & promote the spirit of unity, patriotism and volunteerism with the correct attitude/mindset.
5. Disseminate information about NRM Manifesto & NRM achievements to the grassroots
6. Consolidate support for NRM Party ahead of 2026 General Elections.
7. Identify, recruit & realign NRM cadres to drum up support for NRM party & President M7
8. Encourage Citizens to register for National IDs with NIRA; this allows Citizens to actively participate in the electioneering process. (Political engagement, political awareness & political participation)
9. Encourage people to embrace Government programs for social economic transformation of this country.
10. Provide quality & timely information about household incomes & possible solutions necessary in the development framework.
11. To absorb and engage Youths/young people who could have joined opposition.
12. To encourage Youth to embrace entrepreneurship & enterprise skills development through Youth livelihood, Youth Innovation fund; skilling Uganda etc
13. Ensuring Environmental conservation, sustainability & management by encouraging people to plant trees(Go Green)
14. Sensitize people about Corruption; its causes; its dangers and preventive measures
15. Disseminate and defend NRM policies at all levels; propagate NRM Ideology and principles
16. Find out and reverse Presidential and Parliamentary elections pattern in terms of percentages that has been on a declining trend since 1996.
17. Encourage citizens to act as Security agents in safeguarding & maintaining peace, stability, security and good governance through reporting suspected incidents and bad elements in a society to security agencies.
18. Encourage citizens to participate in government social economic and transformational programs like emyoga, Parish Development Model (PDM) and others.
19. To sensitize citizens about the safety health precautions against the deadly pandemics like COVID-19 and Ebola
