Breaking! Two UPDF Pilots Perish In A Helicopter Crash

The Uganda People Defence Force (UPDF) military Jet ranger AF302 has crashed in Gomba killing two pilots, the army has confirmed.

This was revealed by the UPDF Spokesperson Brig. Richard Karemire who said a military helicopter had crashed in Gomba on Tuesday morning- killing the pilot and another crew member. “Sadly. no one is reported to have survived.”

Without giving further details, he said investigation into the cause has commenced.

Karemire further expressed condolences to the families of the deceased.

“We offer our condolences to the family members and entire UPDF fraternity,” he added.

The deceased pilots have been identified as major Naomi Karungi and Cadet Pilot Wakalo
