Corruption: Two Arrested Bribing Kajjansi Police Officer

Police in Kajjansi have arrested two people on allegations of attempting to bribe a police officer.
The suspects have been identified as Richard Walugembe and Remogio Baale who are currently detained at Kajjansi Police Station.

According to the investigating officer, who is at the same time a victim in this crime said, Kajansi Police Station impounded a motor vehicle registration number UAT 924D, which was allegedly used in robbing members of the public and investigations were ongoing into the matter.

The two suspects decided to bribe the officer with shs 400000 to release the vehicle but unfortunately, the duo were caught in action while handing over bribe to the police man.

Police said, the investigations into the matter are still ongoing and the suspects will soon be presented to courts of laws when their file is ready.
