The Faith of Unity, under the spiritual leadership of Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka, commemorated Uganda’s 63rd Independence Anniversary with vibrant celebrations held in Nyankyasasa Village, Kikuube District.
The three-day event attracted thousands of followers and well-wishers, reaffirming the faith’s enduring commitment to unity, hard work, and national development.
The celebrations also witnessed over 200 new converts joining the Faith of Unity, a testament to its growing influence across the country.
Addressing the congregation, Owobusobozi Bisaka expressed gratitude to President Yoweri Museveni for recognizing the faith’s mission to eradicate witchcraft and promote peace and unity among Ugandans.
He noted that the Faith of Unity continues to make significant strides in human development, guided by a disciplined work ethic.
“Our believers dedicate 27 days of each month to productive work and reserve only three days — the 2nd, 12th, and 22nd — for prayer,” he said, emphasizing that commitment to hard work is a cornerstone of both spiritual and economic progress.

Owobusobozi Bisaka also urged the new converts, who joined during his recent three-day tour of Kyaka and Bukwenda in Kyangwali, to embrace entrepreneurship and value addition as key drivers of prosperity.
He further encouraged them to participate actively in government programs designed to uplift communities and to continue supporting President Museveni and the NRM government in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.
The Faith of Unity’s Independence celebrations have become a symbol of patriotism and national cohesion, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds in a shared expression of gratitude and hope.
The movement’s message — centered on faith, unity, and development — continues to resonate strongly with communities across Uganda.
