Madi-Okollo is making strides toward sustainable agriculture with the Aliboro Solar-Powered Irrigation System, now at 35% completion.

Once operational, this system will transform farming practices by ensuring reliable water supply and increasing crop yields.

Earth Dam in Yachi is eady for Implementation. Communal Valley Tank is also designed for Peera.
Design studies for Aliboro SPIS (Solar Powered Irrigation Scheme) are ongoing.

These combined projects will bring infrastructure for water harvesting and solar‐powered irrigation, leading to expanded irrigated land, better crop yields, and more opportunities for farmers to adopt high‐value crops. The use of solar power also supports sustainable and environmentally friendly development.
