The Bashaasha Family remembers their mother
“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many do noble things, but you surpass them all.’ Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
Proverbs 31:28-30
Today marks three quiet and reflective years since you answered the call of your Creator and transitioned to eternal glory on 24th October 2023.
Though time continues its steady march, the profound void you left behind is matched only by the towering legacy of grace, wisdom, and unconditional love that you bestowed upon us.
You were the anchor of our home, a woman of deep faith, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion. Every principle you instilled, every prayer you whispered, and every lesson in integrity and hard work that you lived out continue to guide and inspire us each day.
The beautiful family you nurtured stands as a living testimony to your caring hands and God-fearing heart.
Although we deeply miss your physical presence, your spirit remains woven into the fabric of our lives.
You are fondly remembered by your beloved husband, Canon Yorokamu Bashaasha, your children, grandchildren, and all whose lives were touched by your boundless kindness, compassion, and generosity.
Dear Lay Canon Keroi, as you look down upon us from heaven, know that you are dearly missed by your husband, Lay Canon Yorokamu Bashaasha; your children, Willis, Winstone, William, Wycliffe, Edmund, Herbert, Moses, Jennifer, and Anne; your in-laws, Claire, Naome, Bridget Edrina, Livingstone, and Collins; and all your cherished grandchildren.
Thank you for giving us the greatest gift, a mother’s love, steadfast guidance, and a life lived faithfully in service to God and family.
Your legacy continues to shine in the values you passed on and in the lives you touched.
May the angels continue to watch over you in paradise, and may your gentle soul rest in eternal peace until that glorious day when we meet again, never to part.
“Forever in our hearts, Maama. Three years may have passed, Maama, but your love, warmth, and guidance remain forever etched in our hearts. We miss you every day and cherish every precious memory of you. Continue resting in Peace,” Katushabe Bashaasha and Bashaasha Family.
