Gen Kainerugaba Hails Minister Oboth-Oboth For Making Difficult Decisions On Behalf Of UPDF

The Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has praised Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs, Hon. Jacob Oboth-Oboth, for his commitment to Uganda’s defence during a thanksgiving celebration in Tororo.

Gen Kainerugaba, who was invited by Minister Oboth-Oboth, was warmly received by enthusiastic residents who lined the roads to welcome him.

In his speech, the CDF noted that for the short time he has worked with the Minister, he has observed his dedication to the defence of Uganda.

The CDF also expressed gratitude to President Museveni for appointing Minister Oboth-Oboth, stating that he made an excellent choice. With Minister Oboth-Oboth as their representative, the CDF noted the UPDF is confident in his leadership.

Gen Kainerugaba further acknowledged Minister Oboth-Oboth’s tireless efforts, recognising that he carries the weight of the ministry with ease and makes difficult decisions on behalf of the UPDF.

The CDF thanked him for unwavering support and commitment to the UPDF’s cause.
