Minister Kabbyanga Confirms Museveni’s Visit To Kasese,Highlights Govt Reforms

The state Minister of ICT and National Guidance Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabbyanga, has revealed that Government of Uganda has this year merged 57 companies, aimed to minimize Government expenditure.

In a major legislative shift, Uganda’s Parliament, dissolved Uganda National Roads Authority-UNRA mainstreaming under Ministry of works and transport, Uganda Wildlife Education Centre has been merged with UWA, and Uganda Coffee Development Authority is under Ministry of Agriculture with amendments to ensure smooth transition.

Addressing the press this afternoon at Shiloh Gardens in Kasese town, Kabbyanga reaffirmed evaluation of more companies to be dissolved next year, assuring that the dissolution will not result in job losses as perceived by the local community.

He used the same opportunity confirming the attendance on President Museveni at the thanks giving of Gen.Wilson Mbasu Mbadi, the state Minister of trade, industries and cooperatives and Hon.Kabyanga slated on December 07th.2024 at Kaguta grounds in Nyakatonzi sub-county, inviting the people to massively attend.
