Shock As Trigger Hungry Ultimate Security Guard Kills Assistant HR, Armory Officer

A heartbreaking incident unfolded Tuesday morning at the offices of Ultimate Security Company in Mbuya, Bugolobi Parish, Nakawa Division, Kampala, resulting in the deaths of three individuals.

The tragedy occurred around 9:00 AM and is now the subject of an active investigation by officers from Jinja Road Police Station.

According to ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, Deputy Public Relations Officer for Kampala Metropolitan Police, the deceased have been identified as:Noella Zella, Assistant Human Resource Officer at Ultimate Security,Bwampata Salez, the firm’s Armory Officer Mwaawa Richard, a company security guard and the suspected shooter.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Mwaawa Richard arrived at the company premises armed and proceeded to shoot his colleagues, allegedly targeting Noella Zella first, followed by Bwampata Salez. Police responded promptly to emergency calls and reportedly shot Mwaawa in the process of stopping the threat.

The motive behind the violent act has not yet been established. Authorities recovered the firearm used in the shooting, which is now undergoing forensic analysis.

All three bodies have been taken to the City Mortuary in Mulago for autopsy examinations.

“This is a deeply disturbing and unfortunate incident,” said ASP Owoyesigyire. “Our investigative teams are working tirelessly to uncover what led to these tragic events.”

He also appealed to the public to stay calm and allow police investigations to proceed without interference. Further updates will be provided as new details emerge.
