Bloomberg has listed Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine among its 15 people to watch in 2020 across the globe.

Bloomberg is a global leading agency in business and financial data, news and insight.

Each year, they list the 50 most influential figures world over, and name a few other people to watch for an upcoming year.

“Very pleased to be named amongst their 15 people to watch in 2020,” Bobi Wine said.

“As always, I do not take such recognition for granted. Neither do I claim all the credit because without the support of friends like you, this would not be possible.”

He said as they have predicted, he will now take the liberation struggle even higher come 2020.

In their list, Bloomberg looks at; Who has the most-subscribed-to YouTube channel? Who’s Big Oil’s big dealmaker? And just how fast did Popeyes run out of fried chicken sandwiches?

Bloomberg reporters and editors from around the world have answered these questions and more for the third annual Bloomberg 50, our look at the people in business, entertainment, finance, politics, and science and technology whose 2019 accomplishments merit recognition, applause, and, maybe, extra pickles.

Some names you’ll know—perhaps you’ve heard of this Rihanna—but others you likely won’t, such as James Mwangi, the man trying to turn Nairobi into the Dubai of Africa.

And when you’re done with 2019, go to the bottom of the page to find out who might make the list in 2020.
