Ugandans will join the Chinese community in Kampala to celebrate the Chinese New Year (also known as the Spring Festival or the Lunar New Year) with a fete at Kampala’s ritzy Churrasco restaurant called La Cabana Restaurant located at Speke Apartments Wampewo.
China and Chinese across the globe will on 1st February 2022 commence the marking of the Chinese New Year celebrations that will last for 15 days.
According to the Chinese zodiac, 2022 is the Year of the Tiger. As an official public holiday, Chinese people can get seven days’ absence from work, from January 31st to February 6th.
And in Kampala, La Cabana Restaurant has announced that they special arrangement to help the Chinese in Uganda and there friends enjoy the celebrations.
