Celebrations: NRM Supporters Jubilate At Millennium Park Lugogo Ahead Of Swearing In Of President M7

Thousands of NRM supporters gathered at Millennium Park Lugogo on Friday 8th May 2026 for the pre-swearing in ceremony “kasiki” of President elect of Uganda H.E Yoweri K Museveni Tibuhaburwa.

The pre-swearing in ceremony “kasiki” known as ‘Ebinno Mukulayira’ was organised by Nkuyege Think Tank, Operation Ku Ground and many other NRM pressure groups who contributed much to the successful elections that was held on 15th January 2026.

The occasion brought together NRM supporters to ceelebrate victory of the NRM party, building a strong communication network between the NRM party and the ground supporters and calling more people to attend the Presidential swearing in ceremony that is scheduled for this Tuesday 12th May 2026 at Kololo Independence Grounds.

Delivering the message to the public, Hon Hajjat Hanifah Karandi, the Nkuyege Think Tank commander, the pressure group that was mainly running the show, a patriotic leader and former aspirant for Kawempe North MP seat, encouraged people to love their country and called on everyone to support the government programmes regardless of the party they belong to.

She thanked Nkuyege Think Tank group that moved with her in all corners of Kampala Metropolitan showcasing NRM achievements during campaigns and requested them to continue with the spirit encouraging other pressure groups not to give up.

She also called on the newly elected members of Parliament and other leaders to be patriotic, serve accordingly and diligently that because Uganda is developing but the corrupt leaders who spread corruption have made it stuck somewhere for years.

Karadi went on to call on the entire country to keep loving NRM and its seven (7) pillars but also to make Kololo ceremonial grounds a beautiful one by attending in person tomorrow.
