City Technician Arrested Vending 28 Cameras, 18 Laptops Stolen From NIRA

The Police at Old Kampala have recovered 28 cameras, 18 laptops and other related accessories belonging to National Identification and Registration Authority [NIRA].

Kampala Metropolitan deputy police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire, said one suspect has been arrested.

He was identified as Sulaiman Semakadde, 25, resident of Mutundwe in Rubaga Division, Kampala.

Semakadde was arrested at his home while looking for a market for stolen property.

He has admitted that the items were stolen from Kyankwazi NIRA offices on the 31/12/2019.
