Young Ugandan content creators stand a chance to win weekly rewards and a monthly cash prize of UGX 1 million by turning their everyday moments into engaging digital content.
Coca-Cola’s ‘Essawa Yonna Kisoboka’ content creation challenge continues to build momentum across university campuses, with Kyambogo University becoming the latest to embrace the campaign during its Freshers’ Ball on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
The event brought students together for a celebration of music, entertainment and campus culture, creating opportunities for young people to participate in the challenge, capture memorable moments and explore how their creativity could earn them exciting rewards.
The Freshers’ Ball featured performances from Ugandan entertainers Ykee Benda, Ray G and Karole Kasita, among others. Influencers Methia Nabawanda and CB Talker also joined the celebrations, while hype man Benji kept the crowd entertained.
Beyond the performances, the activation spotlighted Coca-Cola’s invitation to young Ugandans to turn their creativity, digital storytelling skills and passion for football into opportunities to win through the ‘Essawa Yonna Kisoboka’ challenge.
The initiative encourages participants to create original short-form videos inspired by the moments that make their experiences unique, from football and matchday celebrations to music, dance, comedy, meals and time spent with friends.
Participants stand a chance to win weekly cash prizes and other goodies, while the top-performing content creator could walk away with a monthly cash prize of UGX 1 million, subject to the official competition terms.
For young people looking to grow their digital presence, the challenge offers an opportunity to showcase their talent, experiment with creative storytelling and share their content with wider audiences. Participants can submit multiple eligible entries throughout the month, building cumulative views and competing for higher positions on the leaderboard.
As the campaign expands across university communities, Coca-Cola is encouraging more young people to move beyond watching and engaging with online content to creating and sharing their own stories.
The opportunity is open to eligible participants who are ready to bring their ideas to life, capture relatable moments and use their creativity to compete for the available rewards.
