‘Confined In Sorrow’ Family Releases Burial Arrangements For Deceased Lawyer Sam Mafijiri

The family of the late Yosiya Mafigiri on Monday with deep sorrow announced the passing of their son and Advocate Sam Mafigiri who reportedly collapsed and died on spot.

Born on April, 11, 1979, Mafigiri succumbed to a Cardiac arrest on Monday September 7, 2020.

“It’s with deep sorrow that we report the passing of Adv. Sam Mafigiri, an Associate and senior Partner at Okwakol & Co. Advocates,” the law firm announced.

It added: “It’s a dark day for Uganda’s Legal Profession. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”

Meanwhile, the family has since released the burial arrangements as follow..

Evening prayers were held on Wednesday evening at Bugolobi Flats block 8.

Church services will be held on Thursday September 10, 2020 at Nakasero All Saints Cathedral at 10am and the Cortege will be moved to the Village in Mparo, Rukiga District on Friday.

Burial will take place on Saturday September 11, 2020 at the Ancestral home in Mparo, Rukiga District starting 9pm.
