Mama FDC, Mama Uganda, Mama Lango, Mama Dokolo, former UPC party iron lady in the 80s and 90s before she joined the mighty FDC mass political party of Uganda. Our icon in FDC elders and senior citizen of this country.
Perhaps one of the few last voices of reason in politics of this country. The sharpest brain, politician with real principles. The finest woman leader in Uganda. The fierce Parliamentary of our life time in matters of wisdom . A very informed woman of our lifetime.
FDC party with only Thirty one members of parliament is now poorer without you Hon Atim Barbrah Cecilia Ogwal. Thirty parliamentarians of the Blue party at Najjanankumbi headquarters are mourning the loss of a giant and real mother in politics and leadership.
Hon. Cecilia Ogwal Atim Barbrah ‘s brain was a unique modern library to many of us pro democracy campaigners in Uganda and Africa in general. Uganda is certainly more poorer without you.
Lango is in deep poverty and misery for losing you at only 77 years . Dokolo, one of the new districts and where FDC is very strong is certainly more poorer tonight without you the adored and admired steadfast leader.
The country has lost a real mother , the party FDC, the district and the entire African continent must be mourning for the loss of Hon. Cecilia Atim Barbrah Ogwal.
For us in your footsteps, its a mammoth challenge you ‘ve left behind , the challenge that calls for divine intervention urgently. Without you it will certainly be harder but we shall never surrender until victory is registered and the goal fully achieved. Good governance and constitutionalism must prevail according to your claim , promise and foundation you established.
Your passing on is supposed to bring us together and we focus on the principles you implanted in us and the entire country.
Mama Cecilia Ogwal , you lived a meaningful and colourful life and you have left many admirers across the political divide in this country. We have alot of good things to remember about you and we can’t find the appropriate words , phrases in english or sentences to summarize your good deeds for dear motherland.
Thank you for being a role model to millions on this planet earth. At 77 years indeed you’ve made and left an indelible mark and a huge political statement in this country on governance and selfless service in Uganda.
