The Senior Presidential advisor & personal Assistant Office of the NRM National Chairman Kyambogo & National coordinator, Bazzukulu Ms Hadijah Uzeiye Namyalo has warned the people of Apac against opportunists who want to break the chain of President Museveni’s good leadership.

Ms Hadijah made the remarks on December 15, 2022 at Mayov Hotel in Apac Municipality, Apak District.

She said “Museveni was such a good mentee while he was a minister under the leadership of former President Dr. Apollo Milton Obote & his obedience ascended him to Presidency then in 1986 & now, and the Bazzukulu she Ms Hadijah leads can’t afford losing him from Presidency as the Bazzukulu want to learn from and refer to Jajja while he still serves”.

The NRM district conference which derives its power from Article 15 (1) of NRM constitution, saw a one Sarah Aceng; Councilor representing PWDs Apac district Local gov’t moved the motion commanding Jajja Museveni to contest for presidency in 2026 & beyond.

Aceng justifies her motion that Jajja Museveni constructed good feeder roads which have promoted commercialised agriculture, provided a humanitarian assistance & dispensing a hospitable habitat to refugees from South Sudan,Kenya & Congo

“The uninterrupted peace & security ushered by President Museveni; making the man who rose to unprecedented world class lasting fame through grassroot mobilisation. And without such a selfless man as President, Uganda risks breeding a very ungrateful generation which doesn’t reward elders for their wisdom”, said Ms Sarah Aceng.

Aceng further said that before Jajja Museveni, history has it how the PWDs faced social exclusion from families to national governance; a practice Jajja Museveni rubbished from day one of his Presidency as PWDs now enjoy social inclusion through good policies and all round programs in which PWDs are nationally recognized & supported.

“Right from the time of bush war, Jajja has been a shelter & his consistent commitment for & devotion to peace efforts have placed Uganda the highland of peace in the region.Such a youth council chairperson & a leader of his generation depend on for mentorship & as a representative of the youth in Apac District, he seconds the motion moved by Ms Aceng Sarah asking Jajja Museveni to stick to the main line & offer himself for presidency in 2026 & beyond,” says Hon.
