Miss Uganda 2025/26, Elle Trivia Muhoza, has opened up a deeply personal chapter of her life with the launch of her book, SPO!LER Alert – You Survived, at a classy ceremony held at Mestil Hotel in Kampala.

The event brought together government officials, former beauty queens, creatives, sponsors, media personalities and close friends, while also serving as Muhoza’s official national send-off ahead of her participation in the Miss World pageant in Vietnam.

Among the notable guests were celebrated Ugandan singer Maurice Kirya and Prince Wasajja, who joined other dignitaries and friends in celebrating Muhoza’s journey and the next chapter of her reign.

Far from being a conventional beauty pageant celebration, the evening was staged as a “Healing Gala”—a gathering centred on resilience, recovery, self-discovery and personal growth.

At the heart of the event was the launch of Muhoza’s memoir, SPO!LER Alert – You Survived, whose central message is captured in its subtitle: “You owe it to yourself to heal fast.”

Drawing from her personal experiences, the book explores themes of trauma, healing, resilience and self-discovery.

Through her story, Muhoza seeks to inspire readers who may be navigating difficult seasons in their lives to confront their experiences, embrace their healing journeys and find the strength to move forward.

For Muhoza, the book represents a side of her journey that extends far beyond the crown.

While her reign as Miss Uganda has placed her firmly in the public eye, the memoir offers readers a glimpse beyond the glamour of pageantry and into the experiences that have shaped the woman behind the crown.

The launch also marked a significant milestone in her Miss World journey, as Muhoza was officially flagged off to represent Uganda on the international stage.

She is set to compete at the Miss World pageant in Vietnam alongside contestants from across the globe, carrying with her the hopes and support of Ugandans.

Her national send-off brought together people who have played a role in her journey, including former beauty queens, sponsors, partners and members of Uganda’s creative community.

The gathering at Mestil Hotel was therefore both a celebration and a new beginning—honouring the story that brought Muhoza to the crown while ushering her into a new chapter on the global stage.

With her memoir officially launched and her national send-off complete, Muhoza now heads to Vietnam carrying more than Uganda’s flag.

She carries a story of survival, healing and resilience—one she hopes will resonate with audiences far beyond the world of pageantry.
