Kazo District Woman Member of Parliament Hon. Jeniffer Muheesi, in collaboration with Yoshuwa Living Water, a China-based company, has successfully completed a multi-million shilling clean water project for St. Catherine Girls Secondary School and the surrounding community.

The project, which replaces contaminated dam water with a safe and reliable source, will officially be handed over in a grand ceremony on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the school.

For years, students and local residents have relied on unsafe water sources, often shared with livestock, exposing them to waterborne diseases such as cholera and typhoid. The new clean water system is expected to improve hygiene, reduce illness, and enhance the overall well-being of both the school and the neighboring community.
