The Office of the President has handed over the End of Term Evaluation Report of the National Resistance Movement Manifesto 2021–2026 to the Prime Minister for onward transmission to the party’s Secretary General.
The evaluation exercise, which commenced in June 2025, presents a comprehensive review of progress made across various sectors, with an overall projected performance of 87 percent.
Officials say the results reflect sustained progress driven by coordinated implementation, strong leadership, and commitment to socio-economic transformation.
The report comes at a critical time ahead of the swearing-in of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for a new term, providing an opportunity to take stock of achievements under the current manifesto.
Government commended various institutions for their role in the process, including the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Office of the Prime Minister, National Planning Authority, and the Uganda Bureau of Statistics, as well as technical working groups involved in the exercise.
The milestone underscores Government’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and evidence-based planning as it prepares for the next phase of Uganda’s development agenda.
