Bundibugyo, Uganda — Testimonies of healing and renewed faith dominated a three-day religious convergence led by Owobusobozi Bisaka in Bundibugyo District, as hundreds gathered for prayers and spiritual guidance.
The event, organised by Faith of Unity believers, attracted participants from across the Rwenzori Sub-region and neighbouring DR Congo, many seeking healing from physical and spiritual ailments.
Several attendees shared personal accounts of recovery, saying they experienced improvement after participating in prayer sessions led by Bisaka. Organisers described the event as a platform for both spiritual renewal and community building.

In addition to healing testimonies, the convergence saw individuals from other religious backgrounds reportedly joining the Faith of Unity. Organisers said the development reflects growing interest in the movement, particularly in cross-border communities.
Bisaka used the gathering to emphasise unity, discipline, and hard work, urging followers to contribute to national development and maintain peaceful relations within their communities.

The event also featured a procession through the town, drawing large crowds and highlighting the growing visibility of the Faith of Unity in the region.
Observers say such gatherings continue to shape religious and social dynamics in western Uganda, particularly in areas with diverse cultural and religious identities.
