Hon. Jennifer Muheesi Leads Fundraising Drive for Kazo Secondary School Main Hall Construction

Kazo Secondary School was a hub of activity as Hon. Jennifer Muheesi, the Kazo District representative, spearheaded a fundraising event aimed at raising funds for the construction of a multi-purpose school hall.

The event, which drew a significant crowd, was attended by several notable figures, underscoring the importance of education and infrastructure development in the district.

Among those in attendance were Bishop Emeritus Steven Namanya, Hon. Frank Tumwebaze, Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, and Hon. Dan Kimosho, the Member of Parliament for Kazo County.

The district’s LC5 chairman, Rev. Samuel Katugunda, also graced the event, highlighting the unity of leaders in pushing for the betterment of educational facilities in Kazo.

In her remarks, Hon. Muheesi emphasized the importance of the school hall in providing a central space for student gatherings, school events, and various community activities.

She rallied the local community to support the initiative, noting that such infrastructure is crucial for both academic and extracurricular activities.

“The future of our children depends on the investments we make in their education today. This hall will not only serve the school but also the larger Kazo community,” Hon. Muheesi remarked.

Bishop Emeritus Namanya also delivered a message of hope and encouragement, calling for continued cooperation between the church, government, and community in promoting education.

Minister Tumwebaze, known for his advocacy in agriculture and rural development, commended the leadership of Kazo for prioritizing education and infrastructure.

The event was marked by pledges and contributions from various attendees, with the goal of ensuring the project is completed in the shortest time possible.

This fundraiser is yet another testament to Hon. Muheesi’s dedication to the development of Kazo District, where she has been actively involved in championing projects that enhance the well-being of her constituents.
