A devoted wife, mother of four, and proud resident of Nawampandu village, Hon. Kawanguzi Mariam Asiimwe has announced her candidacy for Woman Member of Parliament in Namutumba District on the National Resistance Movement (NRM) ticket.

With her family roots firmly planted in the district, Hon. Kawanguzi Mariam Asiimwe is well-acquainted with the challenges and opportunities within Namutumba. Her experience as a dedicated wife and mother has equipped her with the skills and empathy needed to address the pressing concerns of her community.

Hon. Kawanguzi Mariam Asiimwe’s vision for Namutumba is one of prosperity, growth, and improved well-being for all. She has outlined a comprehensive plan to initiate projects that will tackle the district’s most pressing issues, including education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and infrastructure development.

She addressed all this today at Namaato village in Namutumba District while attending a burial of the Chairman Lc1’s son. He died at 30years.
