“Jajja Tova Ku Main” Moves To Bobi’s Strong Hold, Donates UGX 5M to Kamwokya Boxing Club

The office of the National Chairman (ONC) of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party yesterday donated UGX 5m to a team of boxers from Kamwokya Boxing club towards facilitating and improving their boxing game to better standards.

The money was handed over to the group at the ONC head offices in Kyambogo by Senior Presidential advisor on political affairs and National Coordinator of the Bazukulu Movement Hajjat Uzeiye Hadijah Namyalo.

During the handover, Hajjat Namyalo revealed that her office was approached by Ghetto youths from the said boxing Club seeking support and she communicated to the president about the issue and Jajja (President Museveni) responded positively.

“They informed us (Office of the National Chairman NRM) about the need to have better boxing training facilities in order to improve their boxing standards and when president Museveni learnt about this, here we are, officially handing over UGX 5m to the boxers” Hajjat Namyalo said.

She added, “With this money they can now go and buy boxing equipment, improve their talents and compete on international level”.

The Chief Muzzukulu also urged the Ghetto youths to take advantage of available government programs such as the Parish Development Model and Emyooga to boost their household incomes.

Hajjat Namyalo also urged the youth to use their talents wisely and constructively to avoid being misled and used by individuals with selfish political interests.

She advised them that they should use their boxing talent to earn money and uplift themselves and their families.

“Do not be used by self-seekers who want to use you to carry out illegal activities that lead to the destruction of the environment and death like burning tyres and bijjambiya,” Namyalo advised.

“The future belongs to those who wait; those who wait finally reach success. Do not accept to be used while your users benefit financially from your actions, ” Hajjat Namyalo advised.

She further called on all Ugandans especially the youth to massively rally behind the “Jajja Tova Ku Main” campaign endorsing president Museveni as the NRM sole candidate in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.

Steven Muhire the Local council 1 (LC 1) chairperson Kamwokya B cell revealed that Kamwokya Boxing club comprises of 65 young boxers and the team has been very notorious in Kamwokya during riots through burning car tyres and looting property.

He however added that the group is now changed and ready to support the government and its programmes for national development.

The Ghetto youths also assured the National Coordinator of their support towards the “Jajja Tova Ku Main campaign” adding that they will go back as change agents and preach the NRM gospel.

Recently(on Friday 16th December), Hajjat Namyalo Hadijah Uzeiye was in Kasokoso a city Suburb preaching the “Jjajja Omalako Tova Ku Main” campaign in a bid to breakthrough opposition strongholds in the Kampala Metropolitan area.
