Following the acquittal of all charges from former Inspector General of Police, Gen. Kale Kayihura at Court Martial in Kampala, residents of Kisoro Town were filled with joy and flocked the streets cheering and praising President Museveni for freeing their son.

Gen.Kayihura was battling charges of failure to safeguard war materials and aiding and abetting the kidnapping of Rwandan refugees.
