Just In: Bobiwine Unveils New Political Party

Kyadondo East member of Parliament Hon.Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has on Wednesday launched a new political party named the National Unity Platform.

The unveiling happened in Kamwokya at the People Power offices.

The party said the umbrella will be their symbol.

Bobi has been operating behind the pressure group, People Power movement. He said earlier that he has no plans to register it as a political party as plans to do as had been frustrated by the government.

The new party, he says, is a political wing of the People Power Movement.

The party will unveil leaders in various political party positions.

While speaking, Bobiwine said that other contestants from other political parties who had picked nomination forms for people power will maintain them .TP
