Just In: Covid-19 Cases In Uganda Rise To 126 As Four More Truck Drivers Test Positive

Ministry Of Health has today May, 12, 2020 confirmed four new Covid-19 positive case in Uganda out of 1478 samples from truck drivers.

According to the ministry of health, new cases are two Ugandan truck drivers, One Kenyan who arrived via Elegu and One Tanzanian who arrived via Mutukula border.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 126 in Uganda.

All 233 community samples have tested negative for COVID-19.

Total samples tested today are 1,711.

The total number of recovered cases in the country stands at 56. No single death has been registered in Uganda.
