Kabira Country Club Unveils Splendid “Grand Christmas Wast Lunch” Event

Wondering where to have your Christmas lunch? Kampala’s leading boutique hotel, Kabira Country Club, which is located in Bukoto, a suburb in the leafy outskirts of Uganda’s capital city, has a lineup of dishes that will make your Christmas lunch a memorable experience.

Through it’s social media platforms, Kabira announced that guests will be treated to a bouncing castle, lucky draw, live band, face painting and Santa gifts all priced at just UGX 85,000 for adults and UGX 45,000 for kids below 10yrs.

“At Kabira Country Club, we plan on granting you the best of the holidays with several fun activities you can indulge in. Catch the fun this Christmas only at Kabira Country Club. Dine with us and have a chance to win exciting prizes, you can be a lucky winner of a complimentary night for two, complimentary swimming for a day or complimentary dinner for two,” said the Hotel.”

In an exclusive interview, Kabira further revealed there is a light cream of pumpkin soup on the menu.

Also available will be Mixed leaf salad, Caribbean plantain salad, Thai Papaya salad with mango, Bocconcini mozzarella and tomato salad, Beetroot salad, Coleslaw salad from which to choose.

For cold sauces, there are French dressings, Italian dressing, aged Balsamic dressing, garlic and ginger sesame dressing.

At the Italian stopover, you will find Italian specialties such as Penne, Fusilli, Macaroni and Spaghetti.

The sauces include; Meat sauce, Basilpesto, White Cheese sauce, Marinara Sauce, Puttanesca sauce.

Pasta Condiments are also on the menu.  For vegetarians, there will be Carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, broccoli, green chilies, coriander, sweet corn, Kalamata olives and cheese. For non-vegetarians, there will be chicken, bacon, and ham options.

At the dessert boutique, you will find assorted pastries (Bake-O-Logy) and Christmas Bunche English Roasted Pudding.

For Barbeque lovers, there is aged beef wellington (carving counter) Crispy Peking duck (carving counter), Whole roasted peri peri chicken (carving counter) and Whole roasted nightingale turkey (carving counter).

There is a variety of cold sauces to choose from including: barbeque sauce, herbed bordelaise sauce, cranberry, and red wine reduction.

Also, on the menu are Roasted disc potatoes with fried scallions, Yorkshire pudding, vegetable pie, pig in blankets, apple walnuts raisins stuffing, onion, and sage stuffing, matooke, vegetable fried rice, G/sauce, garlic and paprika sweet corns, mild vegetable curry, bread and spreads, Assorted bread rolls, French loaf, and garlic bread.

The kids have also been catered for.  The young ones will enjoy Spaghetti and meatballs in reach tomato compote, fish nuggets with a choice aioli or tartare sauce, sausage rolls, French fries and cream spinach, ice-cream station with pancakes, chocolates, and toppings.
