The management of Kampala Parents’ School (KPS) has opened an online classes for all pupils to benefit during this Covid-19 Lockdown and this will be followed by physical classes once permission is granted by government.

This website have learnt that online classes will start Tuesday 26 May, 2020 for Primary five, six and seven while lower for Primary three and four will start on 29 May, 2020 whereas top class, Primary one and two will start on 4 June, 2020.

The initiative, according to officials from the school, is aimed at keeping pupils engaged in their studies during the COVID-19 lockdown such that they don’t lose track.

Meanwhile, registration for all the interested parties is ongoing.

It should be noted that in April this year, KPS, which is owned under the Ruparelia Group of companies, offered to provide lessons for primary seven pupils on major TVs in Uganda, through live lessons at a free cost until the end of the COVID-19 lockdown.

The lessons are broadcast throughout the week from Monday to Friday starting at 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, and on Saturdays- 8:00am to 9:00 am, as a way of helping the pupils keep abreast with the lost time, so as to prepare them enough for the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

KPS, just like all other schools and universities, were closed in March this year after President Yoweri Museveni announced a national lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.
