Melbet Uganda,Kyentume Fc Sign UPL Multimillion Sponsorship Deal

MelBet Uganda ,one of the fastest growing betting companies has signed a multi-billion sponsorship deal with Kyentume FC to kickstart their StarTimes Uganda Premier League  2020/21 season.

This mega deal was officially unveiled on Friday at Nakawa Park offices by Melbet Uganda boss Andrew Kamwesigye who described this partnership as a marriage which will create win-win agreement between the two parties.

Kyentume FC finished 11th with 30 points from 25 games last season after the league was cut off prematurely due to the coronavirus crisis that forced a halt on all football activities in Uganda.

But amidst this, the resistance and a sense of where the club aspires to go, Melbet, in a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) gesture, reached out.

“It’s not a coincidence but a choice. Kyetume has ambitions to win the league. We chose them basing on the style of play and aspirations, ”Mr Kamwesigye said .

Yasin Asimmwe, Melbet Uganda Chief Operations Officer hinter that they chose Kyetume basing on its football performance over the time.

Having faced some downturns during the season and now the COVID crisis, the club will benefit from MelBet’s noble gesture of supporting Uganda Sports through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

MelBet will support Kyetume FC on the acquisition of the season’s match and training kits, Welfare of players, talent development and other operational expenses.
The multi-million deal will include a revenue share that will support the club, and Melbet will also appear on the jersey on the football club.

The Partnership will see the two parties work together for the long term on an undisclosed amount inclusive of a revenue share.

The new season is set to commence on December 3rd.
