Merriment: Min. Frank Tumwebaze Lifts Kibaale East NRM Flag With 81 Percent

Gender Minister Frank Tumwebaze has won the NRM flag for Kibale East Constituency MP in Kamwenge district.

Tumwebaze, who is the incumbent polled 34,925 votes with his “tightest” contender Bahati Kato attaining 5,086 votes.

Additionally, Dickens Asasira managed to get 2,806 out of the 42,817 votes cast.

“I, therefore, declare Tumwebaze Frank who has polled the highest number of votes 34,925, representing 81.6 percent as the fully elected NRM Flag bearer for Member of Parliament of Kibale East Constituency,”

Tumwebaze in his victory speech said, “From the deep bottom of my heart, i express my profound gratitude to the great people of Kibale East for this BOLD & clear Vote of confidence of 82%.”

He added that, “To my kakuyege team #TeamFrank , to my prayer support team led by my dear wife Kabibi Florence I can only say, Thank you.”
